Passion Pit... Sleepyhead
I highly recommend turning this one up very loud...
But don't watch it when you've been drinking. Might get dizzy...

Went and saw Inner Party System tonight at the cool spot if you're emo and in high school aka Soma. Pretty good show... Sweet laser action.
Super excited for the Casbah tomorrow night. Jessica Lea Mayfield is playing, whose album was produced by Dan Auerbach (of the Black Keys), and the Annuals are playing as well. Get yer tickets and come enjoy the music.

Fleet Foxes... Mykonos
Pretty excited that these guys will be at Coachella. It will be a pretty mellow performance, but I've never seen them and I can't wait!
This particular song makes me feel like I ought to be out on a yacht sailing in the isles drinking a ciparina (yummm...) without a worry in the world...

Jump in the Pool... Friendly Fires
The last post really had me thinking of summer and pools (hence the amazing song... you're welcome) and laying out all day to get that beautiful golden tan that i am so missing right now. On another note, that also gets me thinking about bathing suits (yikes) and having to look good in one and that fact that i should quit the burritos that are oh so delicious and that i tend to inhale after nearly dying at the gym. But the burrito store thats so conveniently located on my way home makes the most amazing breakfast burritos all day long and they are open 24 hours. I think i need to move...

(thoughts on jazz)

I'll admit it. My very favorite "cooking dinner on a hot evening with all the doors and windows open" music is Jazz. I don't know why, but if you do it you will love it forever and ever. Guaranteed. Smooth Jazz 98.1 (don't make fun) has been playing some very very very good music by Ingrid Michaelson, who I absolutely adore at the moment. Check her out:
