(excuse me, hello)

today the little capitalist/materialist in me is coming out of her shell and saying excuse me, hello! These CHANEL tights are ghetto-fabulous (minus the ghetto)!! i am melting inside, F i want them! cuteee!

i have no clue when these came out, but chances are it was a while ago, since i never know anything, about...anything...maureen can tell you all about that! anyway, i still think these are ultimately post-worthy. soo adorable!

(i luhh it)

so apparently all amazingness is embodied in this "doggy bag." I LUHH DIS SHIT TO DEAF.

Makes you want to return your two four-month-old kittens to the adoption center for a dog, right?

no, i would never do that...maybe...

just kidding, i love my baby kitkats!

(mad at weather)

okay, so yes, it has been really nice these past few days here in San Diego, but its been like this for eons. global warming can suck it cause my winter-time boots were made for wearing.

i am originally from northern California, land of the foggy summer, and nippy fall.
so i am really confused at this weather. i know at least half of you out there are dying to wear your winter clothes (which i personally think is the best fashion season) to beat the cold. There's just something wonderful about being bundled up all the time and coming home to a warm house. So I've decided that if i start to wear wintry clothes, winter will come to me. any one care to join me? call me crazy? maybe?

Romantic... by Walter Meego

Something about this song always puts me in a good mood. Don't quite understand the video, but at least there's ninjas.

Enjoy!

(thoughts on jazz)

I'll admit it. My very favorite "cooking dinner on a hot evening with all the doors and windows open" music is Jazz. I don't know why, but if you do it you will love it forever and ever. Guaranteed. Smooth Jazz 98.1 (don't make fun) has been playing some very very very good music by Ingrid Michaelson, who I absolutely adore at the moment. Check her out:

(trick or treat, smell my feet)

Halloween 2008 is rollin' up around the corner, and I'm betting you haven't even thought of what you're doing-- much less, what you're going to be. There are plenty of silly festivities going on in sunny San Diego, so this post will give you the heads up on what to do with you and your affectionate self; That way, you don't have to ask yourself, "What do you do when you're too old to trick or treat (which is NEVER in my book-that's right I plan on doing it, and YOU will be jealous of all my free candy)?"

(Haunted Trail in Balboa Park, October 24): I've heard this is actually pretty darn scary, although that might have been my friend's trees talking, who knows. This would be fun with a group of amigos, for sure.

(Whaley House): For those of you who don't know, this is San Diego's year-round haunted house. There has never been a day in my life that I have not wanted to come here, and what appropriate timing

MORE UPDATES TO COME...

Devastation...

So... my absolute favorite nail polish is Chanel "Fire" and I recently broke my last bottle of it. (Don't leave nail polish in your center console during really hot summers in San Diego.) I have been on a hunt for it for quite some time now and I am pretty sure that it has been officially discontinued. It is the perfect red and makes me truly happy when i see it on my nails, and it is gone for-ev-er...

Welcome...

OH! Why... hello there!!! I'm Maureen. I'm a twenty something from San Diego. I love music, baking, running (sometimes), snuggling, shopping, cocktails, fishing, vacationing, reading blogs and writing to you... I look forward to hearing from you too!!!
